What are RSS Feeds?
"Really Simple Syndication" (RSS) feeds are a way to syndicate content. In the case of Bethel,
we are syndicating our news content. Syndicating is a relative term depending on what web site
is using RSS, but bbcosky.org is using it merely as another way to publish our news.
So what can you do with RSS feeds? Well, in most modern browsers (Internet Explorer 6 and 7,
Firefox, Safari, Opera, among others), you can "subscribe" to RSS feeds. In Internet Explorer, Firefox,
and Opera, you will see this little icon in your address bar or near your menu bar:
Safari has a blue icon with the letters "RSS" in it. In any browser, often all you need to do is click on the icon and the browser will provide instructions for subscribing to the feed-- or it may do it automatically.
Subscribe to the feed by clicking the icon. Here on bbcosky.org, the icon is located in the footer of every page.
